Cheryl Carroll is serving as student Pastor to Elizabeth UMC.  Pastor Cheryl and her husband, Pastor Doug Carroll, reside at the Elizabeth parsonage. Doug is the pastor at First UMC at Pearl City and McConnell UMC.  Cheryl and Doug have two children, Jason is a junior in college, and Seth will be a freshman in college this fall.  

Doug and Cheryl lived in the Stockton community for the last 10 years.  Cheryl served as Stockton’s Calvary UMC as Youth Director from 2003 -2006.  Having been very active in the churches they attended over the years and with both children now in college, the timing is perfect for Cheryl to finish her education at the University of Dubuque and the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary at Dubuque, Iowa.

Cheryl is excited about this new phase in her life.  God orchestrated and timed past events and people in her life that led her to where she is today. We don’t always understand what takes place in life but when we put our trust in God and acknowledge God in all areas of our life, God will make our paths straight.  God is a faithful God and has our best interest in hand.

If you feel that your life is lacking that ‘something’ that you can’t quite explain, ask God to be Lord of your life – God gives peace and an inner joy in the midst of life’s busyness.
